This was my first experience with Max Engel and it was excellent, with a homely touch to make you feel welcome, legal jargon was explained in layman's terms which was easy to understand. Rebecca makes you feel like one of the family which is important when dealing with sensitive matters, but in a professional way.
I would highly recommend Max Engel and Rebecca.

I've used Max Engel Solicitors for a number of matters mainly around commercial and residential property, most recently on a property I wanted bought quickly and without faff, where Kira acted for me. I am always impressed with the clarity of their advice and the sense of urgency they have in comparison to others.

In an email dated 20/04/23 Durga Habbu wrote " We asked that you speak to a letting agent and find out all the requisite documents (by law) to be served on the tenant at the start of the tenancy".
I interpreted this as meaning "Ask a letting agent what the rules are".
I said this to a letting agent and Durga accused me of misrepresenting her advice and refused to help me further.
That advice cost me £1500. Not happy.
