Terrible service

I wish I had these reviews prior to contacting this unprofessional firm! Gillian Fawcett was incapable of completing the very straight forward process for my first ever house purchase. After months of bad communication, not giving me any updates, they simply said they were refusing to work on my case without any explanation whatsoever but only after I was pressing and asking for updates! No care in the world, no apology and no effort in trying to send my new solicitors any paperwork which had already been done to speed up the process.

Excellent communication.

Although I was unable to get a solicitor because of timing, they were very quick to return calls and were very helpful and polite. Fully recommend.

Very unprofessional

Terrible communication, often rude, did not chase up loose ends. These people do not deserve to run this service. Gillian Fawcett was incapable of completing the very straight forward conveyancing for a purchase. After 7 months of false information I had to switch to another solicitor, the job was then completed the job within two weeks.

Not Good

We recently sold our mums house due to her passing in April last year. We had a trust deed that needing to sorted out so we went with Alderson Law in Blyth, this part of the service was very good so we decided to use Alderson law in Morpeth for the conveyancing . This turned out to be a very bad decision, I constantly had to chase them up for updates, they said they had sent documents (which on several occasions was not true). On one occasion I finally got to speak to the solicitor handling the conveyancing and she was rude to say the least. You have to constantly chase them up for updates, they rarely reply to emails and for the price they charged, supplied a shocking service. Our estate agents also said it was one of the worst they had seen in a while. The trauma of loosing a loved one and having to sell the family home was bad enough let alone having to deal with the shocking service we received.

Shocking service

Have used Alderson Law for years , but they’ve got rid of the good solicitors. I’ve purchased 6 properties through them but the last one was a nightmare... you have to constantly chase via phone and email... they either don’t answer emails or take over 7 day even just to acknowledge.... rubbish not be using them again once this last property is complete
