I have been to see Mr Byrne twice this year and he has been very good and telling me what I should and shouldn’t be doing, he read me all the documentation through asking me if I understood each paragraph along the way, I would highly recommend this firm of Solicitors to anyone they are local too.

Kirsty handled my mother’s sale of a property in Oxford and her purchase of a property in East Rushford. She was clear, helpful and professional throughout, and managed both transactions smoothly without any problems. Where additional work was needed, Kirsty went the extra mile to make sure everything was dealt with properly and without unnecessary delay. Communication was consistently excellent: calls were answered, messages were returned, and it was easy to speak to someone when needed. It was also reassuring to use a small local practice that you can visit in person, rather than an impersonal online conveyancing firm. This was a perfect example of why the cheapest online option is not always the best value. Highly recommended. We would definitely use Kirsty again.

My partner and I recently used Hawley & Rodgers for the purchase of our first home. We had Sheila Biskup, a solicitor from H&R's Long Eaton branch, guide us through each stage, answering queries and questions politely and promptly. As I'm sure other homeowners will know, there is a lot of stress involved and Sheila helped us massively from start to finish. I would also like to add that it's nice to have a physical location to go to and speak to someone or drop off signed documents. I would definitely recommend H&R to friends and family and I'm sure if we decided to move house again, we would be back in a heartbeat!

Paige has taken me through a transfer of equity and buying a shared ownership property this year, during a very difficult time. She kept me informed throughout, offered compassionate advice and did her best to keep things moving quickly. Every time I had to pop into the office Weronica was great, friendly, quick and efficient. They both made a really difficult start of the year, much easier than it might otherwise have been. The quotes I received for services, were also comparable to some of the 'cheap' Internet solicitors, which I was initially caught out with, I used a firm that I found on the Internet, which suddenly closed down, with no notice to staff or clients. Hawley and Rogers stepped in and took over immediately, getting things moving. Thank you Paige for all of your hard work for me this year.

I have used H&R solicitors over the last few years for a variety of reason including the sale and purchase of a house, and more recently, the creation of mine and my husbands wills. The process from start to finish has been seamless and stress free. The advice has been informative, accurate but never persuasive of pushy. Chrissey and Nadine are a wonderful team who delivered over and above and whom I would have no hesitation recommending (and have done to a couple of friends) and whom I would definitely use again even though I live 3 hours away. You're in excellent hands I promise.
