He was joined in 1953 by Lawrence Gibbon and their initials still remain as the name of our firm. I would like to say a massive thank you to Laura & Jodie, who handled and managed the sale of my flat in such a professional and efficient manner, even when presented with a few hurdles and some unexpected challenges, nothing was too much trouble. Laura was excellent with all communications and when she was not available Jodie ensured the process was ongoing, both delivered on my expectations and always explained everything clearly. Always gave professional advice and regular updates to ensure I understood each part of the process. Both proactive and used time efficiently to avoid any delays. I contacted BG solicitors in regards a tenancy eviction. My enquiry was directed to Denise Bell who I found to be very knowledgeable, professional and proactive in communicating necessary details. Denise guided me through the eviction process, making it easily digestible and understandable at all times. Brad and Laura are a credit to BG they had lots of hurdles to cross and jump over but nothing was a problem. After the trouble i had with other solicitirs Brads team stayed 100% professional,helpful and always on the end of the phone fir my wife and I. I found Laura and Jodie really easy to deal with and extremely professional for my property purchase. They ensured all queries were chased up and resolved and were totally understanding when I couldn’t respond due to being in areas with no connectivity. Should I sell my property in the future, I will have no hesitation in using BG Solicitors again.

AWFUL Stay Away!! 5 months and could not complete sale of flat in London. Louis Kirk went on leave without notifying anyone and his manager and the complaints dept never replied. Caused loss of sale total waste of time Pathetic!
A house move is potentially the most stressful time of our lives. Trying to beat the labour deadline for an increase in stamp duty just triples that. But Helen Kent and her team, phenomenal. I had a hiccup at the start where I missed some paperwork requests, but that was no problem at all. You chased me, and everyone involved and ensured we were in time for the deadline, and kept me in the loop right up until I had the keys in my hand. Thanks so much!

Have used BG Solicitors for years so when I purchased my new home in 2023 it was my ‘go to solicitors’ however, this time the service was poor, I had to do all the chasing, poor communication from the team involved. No face to face meetings, all correspondence conducted by email. Maybe this is normal post Covid but I was certainly not impressed with the professionalism or the customer service I am basing my review on my previous experiences with BG, felt like an inconvenience every time I called.
Very efficient and friendly service. Handled selling a relatives property for us, keeping us updated and abreast of all developments.
Excellent Solicitors, made things much easier. Would definitely recommend for house buying and Wills .

Nice place, if a little pricey. But most solicitors are these days, though these seem to be the cheapest around. Stairs are a little difficult for people with mobility issues, but they do have a disabled entrance,which is a nice touch.
We appreciate your honest thoughts on our pricing and are glad we could offer competitive rates for your matter.
