He was joined in 1953 by Lawrence Gibbon and their initials still remain as the name of our firm. I asked Emma to represent me in a lease extension. She was helpful, responsive and proactive in dealing with the other side, who were particularly unresponsive. I have used BG several times in the past but it was the first time I had dealt with Emma. I can recommend her.

The property sale process was very comfortable. Communication was excellent and the portal used for sending information was easy to use. The task was effectively shared between two members of staff but it was still a seamless process.

AWFUL Stay Away!! 5 months and could not complete sale of flat in London. Louis Kirk went on leave without notifying anyone and his manager and the complaints dept never replied. Caused loss of sale total waste of time Pathetic!
I would like to express our sincere thanks to Emma Hudson and Brad Whiteley at BG Solicitors in Grimsby. It was always going to be a fraught transaction due to the timescale that we had to work to. In addition to this, the onerous requirements of other parties. However Emma was calm and persevered to enable a successful completion on the deadline. Thankyou so much.
A house move is potentially the most stressful time of our lives. Trying to beat the labour deadline for an increase in stamp duty just triples that. But Helen Kent and her team, phenomenal. I had a hiccup at the start where I missed some paperwork requests, but that was no problem at all. You chased me, and everyone involved and ensured we were in time for the deadline, and kept me in the loop right up until I had the keys in my hand. Thanks so much!

TERRIBLE. Avoid this firm. Unhelpful and unresponsive staff who don't even follow their own formal complaints procedure, and when they do, only say what they need to to cover their backs if the SRA got involved. I was given a new solicitor and didn't even know their name for 2 and a half months, it wasn't until I mentioned pulling out of the sale that they got in touch. Weird! The negative reviews do not lie.

It’s the first time that I’ve been to court and Denise contacted me prior, to walk me through the process. It made things a lot easier on the day, and I was amazed at how comfortable I felt in her hands. The file, put together by Leah Heckles, was so professional. Everything the Judge needed to know about the case was there, in order. Denise was fabulous. She did all the talking and made everything seem quite effortless. Kept to point and truth and dealt with any complication with ease. After the hearing she took me in to a room just to see how I was and make sure that I was happy with the outcome, of which I was. I would highly recommend her for your court proceedings. Really happy and it made what I thought would be a stressful experience, very comfortable. Thank you Denise!

We used BG solicitors for will writing (Miriam) & conveyancing (Bradley & James) received great advice and outstanding service from everyone. I've moved house several times and never had a solicitor so responsive. Any questions were answered same day, there was a portal to keep up to date with progress. When things got sticky enquiries were made promptly. With our will writing everything is fully explained and any questions answered. I am fully confident we now have the right protections for our family. Fees are competitive, there are 5 office across the Hunber region Hessle, Barton, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Louth so easy to pop in for appointnents or to drop off/collect. I would highly recommend

Do yourself a favour and find a different solicitors. Used them recently and communication from them is really poor. Don't reply to emails in a timely manner and don't reply to answer phone messages at all. Will never use again.
