He was joined in 1953 by Lawrence Gibbon and their initials still remain as the name of our firm. We used BG solicitors for will writing (Miriam) & conveyancing (Bradley & James) received great advice and outstanding service from everyone. I've moved house several times and never had a solicitor so responsive. Any questions were answered same day, there was a portal to keep up to date with progress. When things got sticky enquiries were made promptly. With our will writing everything is fully explained and any questions answered. I am fully confident we now have the right protections for our family. Fees are competitive, there are 5 office across the Hunber region Hessle, Barton, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Louth so easy to pop in for appointnents or to drop off/collect. I would highly recommend

If you are leaving money in your will to friends and relatives do not use these solicitors. Do not use them as executors.Your friends and relatives will have died before they see any legacy you have left them.A snail could move faster !

Excellent Solicitors, made things much easier. Would definitely recommend for house buying and Wills .
I've waited over a year to write this review as the experience and service from the branch in Barton impacted my mental health to such an extent. Executors of a family members Will, it was meant to be handled by an identified partner but transferred from Grimsby to Barton. Excessive fee considering living partner collated all the information. Wrong advice given in respect of trust money. Slow to process the paperwork, poor communication in light of a family member contesting Will. And 'person' who was executoring Will, when monies were due to be paid, didn't return call and went on holiday! By this point I just wanted it to end, nearly a year on, family divided and my Grandfather would have be furious and appalled at the service he had received from a family friends firm. It was finally settled by a solicitor in the Grimsby Branch who completed it within 24 hours and appeared to understand the level of distress the experience had caused.

Both Michaela and I have previous experience of marketing a plot , but this sale proved to be one of the most challenging experiences either of us have ever endured and will no doubt be top story in Michaela’s memoirs ! It tested our patience to the limit but Michaela remained steadfastly professional.

After an initial contact with Denise it was decided to serve a section 8 notice which was served to the tenant within a very short period of time The service provided by B & G from start to finish was very efficient.

i am usually impressed with Beetenson & Gibbon's services in general, specifically their conveyancing and property services and my latest interaction is no exception to that. Laura Kirk and her assistant, Jodie McLoughlin, handled the conveyancing really well and when an issue arose they took a refreshing, no-nonsense logical approach to it to get it resolved with the other party's legal adviser. The conveyancing service provided was slick and prompt and they were personable. i can recommend both of these professionals and Beetenson & Gibbon.

Nice place, if a little pricey. But most solicitors are these days, though these seem to be the cheapest around. Stairs are a little difficult for people with mobility issues, but they do have a disabled entrance,which is a nice touch.
We appreciate your honest thoughts on our pricing and are glad we could offer competitive rates for your matter.
