At Fogwill & Jones (Legal Services) Limited, we specialise in providing advice relating to Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Probate and the administration of estates. Our aim is to provide efficient, concise and understandable legal services and guidance. We are on the outskirts of Sheffield which ensures that clients do not have to worry about driving into the city centre to meet with us. We have plenty of free client parking. Our office is situated two minutes from Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s at Millhouses. We know that it’s not always convenient for you to visit us and so we offer home visits. We also have facilities to hold telephone conferences and Zoom meetings. We work on a ‘fixed fee basis’ for Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and a ‘time spent basis’ for Probate and the administration of estates. We do not charge a percentage fee based on the value of an estates’ assets which is different to many other solicitor’s firms in Sheffield. Read more...

Our existing will was out of date and so we wanted a local solicitors near to us so that we could sit face to face and discuss our requirements and listen to advice. We contacted Fogwill and Jones to discuss this and were immediately offered an opportuinity to attend their office.
We met with Helena Grady who listened, advised and prepared our new will within a very short timescale. We are more than happy with the way we were dealt with by all the staff and based upon our experience would have no hesitation to recommend them. Thank you to Helena and the team.

Helena advised my parents when they needed to update their Wills. She showed great kindness, empathy and understanding to them both, in particular my Mum, who was in the early stages of dementia.
My siblings and I subsequently asked Helena to help us with a probate application and inheritance tax forms; once again her help, advice and patience were very much appreciated. We would highly recommend Helena and would have no hesitation in consulting her again.

Very professional process with a friendly staff. All the procedure was explained in language we could understand & plenty of time for questions & clarification. Dealing with Dad's Estate alongside everything else going on at the time would have been a lot more traumatic if not for the support of F&G. Helena dealt with Probate throughout and kept us up to date as appropriate, did not push or force matters and allowed us to manage Dad's affairs at our own pace. I have used Helena Grady of Fogwill and Jones Legal services twice to help me with getting probate for my parents' estates, the first time during Covid-19 lockdowns. She has always been helpful friendly and very accommodating, allowing me to do those bits I was comfortable with and only doing what was needed. I have found her advice to be easy to follow and well founded especially when arranging for Deeds of Variation to be drawn up and managing the process with HMRC and the Probate Office.
