Mine was a house move with many parts, the normal conveyancing of buying and selling a house but also transfer of equity after a divorce from another two flats which were further complicated by the fact of having short leases. The leases needed to be extended before I could be released from those mortgages after transfer of equity, and that needed to dove tail with my taking out a new mortgage to purchase my new property. The chain was super complex and pulling in two directions at once. Adam Wilson was absolutely brilliant, not only did he do a very good job and manage to pull everything together on the day but he handled the emotional complexity of exchange and completion being very close together and lots of unhappy people in the chain. Not to mention the fact that Lloyds Bank actually went down on the day of completion so that the money moving up the chain disappeared for a number of hours. He handled it all with incredibly calm and patience, I can't 'recommend him highly enough.

We used Gordons Partnership for a house purchase and would recommend them unreservedly. The purchase process turned into a bit of a saga, and nearly fell through. Samantha C. supported us throughout the process. We were grateful for her easy availability, responsiveness and good advice. It would have been a much more challenging process without her. If we decide to move again, she'll be the first person we contact.

Robert Parsons assisted my sister and I with the sale of our mother’s house in order to fund a care fee annuity. We were selling the house under a lasting power of attorney and without having lived in the property. Robert took the time to explain that we would be selling with limited title guarantee and reassured us just to do our best in answering the questions. Robert kept us fully informed on progress and gave clear instructions on what he needed from us. In fact all of the communication from Robert and his team including Franki Cawdron, and Adam Wilson was excellent and I was made to feel very welcome by Jules Roach on the occasions I attended the office. Robert was sensitive to the fact that any delays would result in my mother having to draw down on her savings to fund the care home fees and did his best to ensure we completed as soon as possible, and we did achieve the date I hope for! There were no ‘surprise’ additional fees to contend with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Robert his colleagues and his firm!

I have used Gordons for previous property transactions and been pleased with the service. Recently used them for the dealing with the estate of my late mother. Probate, IHT and property sale all handled professionally and with a refreshing dose of humanity.
We were recommended by a friend our solicitor, Adam Wilson. Adam was an absolutely amazing Solicitor. He did a fantastic job at keeping us informed, and was unfailing patient / persistent in handling the purchase of our flat. Our flat-buying was complicated by lease-extension and he handled it with professionalism and clarity (in communicating the issues to us). But more importantly I felt throughout he was really invested in our flat buying process. I will definitely recommend to anyone needing a conveyancing solicitor.
