Severance work in England covers how employees are legally ended from their job, including dismissal, redundancy and negotiated settlement terms. A solicitor in this area helps you understand what compensation or settlement is fair, drafts or reviews settlement agreements, negotiates terms with your employer, and advises on rights during redundancy consultations and unfair dismissal claims. The work matters because proper handling can protect entitlements and avoid costly disputes.
