Rachel Jane McGrath

Tagged solicitor Rachel Jane McGrath

After my initial telephone consultation with Rachel, I knew I was going to use RJS Family Law for my financial proceedings. She was the only solicitor that I felt really cared about what the client wanted and would fight for it. I instructed Rachel for my FDR in January 2025. She prepared my position statement and created the court bundle. She took my instructions throughout by asking how involved I wanted her to be in the process in order to keep costs to a minimum. I gathered all the evidence from my ex-husband and then provided it to Rachel so she could create the bundle. She advised me on my position and also listened to what I wanted to achieve and why. At the FDR, it was clear that she understood the facts of my case as she was able to defend points raised by my ex-husband. I was able to reach a positive settlement at the FDR which would not have been possible without Rachel’s help. She was very approachable and we had a lovely conversation whilst waiting to be called in. Although her hourly rate may be high, her communication is clear and concise so you’re not wasting money on unnecessarily long communication. In the end, I didn’t end up paying as much as I had anticipated. The service I received was worth every penny. I would recommend RJS Family Law to anyone needing assistance with family of child matters. They care about their clients and want the best for them.

Katrina Whyard

Tagged solicitor Katrina Whyard

Katrina was (and is) fantastic. She came highly recommended from my mortgage broker – I can see why, now – and did wonders. I had quite a tight deadline for a divorce-mandated transfer of property and remortgage, for quite a complex little right-to-manage flat in London, and she was thorough, persistent and highly communicative throughout. She pulled out all the stops and couldn’t have been more helpful and collaborative. I got a much better service than I ever expected and would recommend Katrina unreservedly!

Syed Naqvi

Tagged solicitor Syed Naqvi

I genuinely don’t have enough words to express how incredible Mr Syed Naqvi has been throughout my case. From the very beginning, he was everything you could hope for in a lawyer — deeply professional, kind, and always present. He was responsive at every stage, no matter how small the question or how late the hour, and made me feel like I was never going through this alone. What truly sets him apart is the way he approaches his work — with heart, with care, and with absolute commitment. He didn’t just represent me; he stood with me. Every step felt thought through, every decision made with integrity and compassion. And the barrister he chose, was just as extraordinary. Sharp, articulate, and fiercely protective — but also deeply understanding and warm. I’ve never felt so safe in such a vulnerable process.I could feel how much they both cared, how much they poured into the case, and how determined they were to make sure I was treated fairly and with dignity. I truly felt like I had the very best people by my side — not just legally, but as human beings. I will never forget what they did for me. I’ll carry their kindness and strength with me always.

Malini Domah

Tagged solicitor Malini Domah

I contacted National Legal Service at a time when I felt unsupported and alone, following a very difficult experience with another solicitor. From the very first phone call, I felt listened to, understood, and supported. I was introduced to supervising solicitor Malini Domah, who showed genuine empathy and compassion from the outset. She immediately took my case seriously and supported me every step of the way. Her dedication was incredible — she fought tirelessly for me, even giving up her weekends and time during annual leave to ensure I was supported. Although we never met in person due to distance, she was always there at the end of the phone when I needed her most. Her commitment went above and beyond anything I could have expected. I would also like to thank Tia Pavett and the whole team at National Legal Service. Without their support, I truly believe I may have lost my son. I will never be able to thank them enough. From the bottom of my heart — thank you. Vicky Mason
