This work covers residential conveyancing, buy-to-let and social housing matters, landlord and tenant disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, boundary and title problems, mortgage and possession cases and housing-condition claims. Solicitors draft and negotiate contracts and leases, exchange and complete conveyancing, prepare and register transfers and charges at HM Land Registry, serve and respond to s.8 and s.21 possession notices, represent clients in county courts and in the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber), and press or resist repair and disrepair claims under statutory housing law. Lender requirements, deposit protection schemes and conveyancing searches commonly structure the process.

Throughout the meeting Andrew was attentive, made sure he fully understood the situation, and my concerns, while providing a detailed breakdown of options available to me. At no time did I feel pushed into a course of action. Overall the service I recieved was excellent.”

    Frequently asked questions

    How are these solicitors ranked?

Rankings are worked out mainly from client reviews: the ratings clients give and how recent the reviews are, with reviews about Housing & Property counting most. We also take into account how much of a firm's work is in Housing & Property.

Twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday, so new reviews are reflected quickly. This list was last updated on 29 October 2026.

Is it free to compare solicitors?

Yes. Comparing firms, reading reviews and sending your case summary to the firms you choose is free.

    Who will see my details?

Only the law firms you choose to send your case summary to. Nothing is shared until you press send, and your details are never shown on this page.
