“Like many householders in Sheffield our house was leasehold. The ground rent was derisory, only £2 per annum, but we decided that it would make future sales simpler if we bought the freehold. The freeholds were in a group of 12 and the freeholders were happy to sell them all at once. Andrew gave us a reduced price, since he was processing all 12 properties. We managed to recruit all our neighbours into the project, at least partly because of the advantageous price Andrew gave us. Andrew was always easy to contact and answered emails promptly.
