After completion in property transactions, a solicitor finalises the transfer of ownership at the Land Registry, ensures the mortgage is correctly discharged, and handles any remaining stamp duty duties. They also deal with post-completion formalities such as updating the register of title, sending the title documents to the client, and addressing any subsequent charges or liabilities that arise from the purchase. The work turns a completed sale into a legally registered ownership, and confirms the client’s formal position as the new owner.

“I had a very positive experience with Goddard Dunbar & Associates during the sale of my property. The team were professional, responsive, and kept the process moving efficiently from start to finish. Communication was clear throughout, and any queries I had were addressed promptly. They handled the legal side of the transaction thoroughly, kept me informed at each stage, and worked well with the estate agent to ensure a smooth exchange and completion. I was particularly impressed with how they managed everything while I was overseas, making the process straightforward and stress-free. Their guidance and attention to detail gave me confidence that everything was being handled properly. I would highly recommend Goddard Dunbar & Associates to anyone looking for reliable and efficient conveyancing services.”
