Complex Wills covers high‑value estates, intricate trust structures and tax planning within a valid will, often involving complementary lifetime gifts, nil‑rate band planning and cross‑border considerations. A solicitor in this area drafts and reviews sophisticated wills, prepares and registers testamentary trusts, advises on inheritance tax, and coordinates executorship and probate to protect the intended distribution of an estate. They liaise with executors, navigate disputes over validity or interpretation, and manage fiduciary duties across complex beneficiaries and assets.
