“My brother passed away unexpectedly in the UK and I travelled from Australia to farewell him, representing my two sisters also living in Australia, and sort out his affairs. I only had a week and needed help as he left no will, had a house to sort and sell, and his affairs were a bit muddled. I was fortunate to find Stephanie Wilson at Hewitts who patiently worked through things with me over the ensuing several months, settling his debts, chasing up creditors and settling sale of his house. Stephanie was always level headed, courteous and prompt in finalising the estate. I am only sorry we weren't able to carry out more of our interactions face to face but given that, Stephanie made it as straightforward and pleasant as it could be in the circumstances.
