My wife and I were facing eviction and, due to very challenging personal circumstances, we needed urgent legal aid. Mr Olusegun Ajayi took our case.
Initially, there was a period of uncertainty as consent forms took longer than expected to be completed and bit of chasing up was required to gain some clarity. However, our anxiety was based on inexperience. Of course it was. We'd never faced eviction before and couldn't read between the intimidating lines of the legal paperwork coming our way from the claimants. It was a horrible time.
Mr Ajayi is a very grounded, calm and knowledgeable advocate. You have to allow him to do what he knows how to do.
When it came to the day in court. My wife was very unwell and couldn't attend. The claimants taking legal action against us were there with their solicitor as I sat by myself.
As soon as Mr Ajayi walked in and we greeted one another, a weight lifted. Mr Ajayi has a very reassuring presence.
Remember, this was legal aid and there have been horror stories about inept solicitors. On the contrary, Mr Ajayi was a consummate advocate. Caring, detailed, very smart, I knew we were in good hands.
We had a tough judge.
But we also had a far better outcome than could have been expected.

I like the service and the support from the solicitor I was already giving up but thanks to Mr Olu I manage to overtun my appeal and the council offered me accommodation many thanks to him.
They help me through a very difficult period. And sometimes he gives you advice as a friend to guide you.
My appeal was successful because of his effort.He is really doing the perfect job.

Like many others, during the pandemic, I found myself in a difficult situation, losing almost everything, only to be told by my local council, that I made myself homeless intentionally. They really made an effort to get to know my needs and once they had my housing file, they strategically put a strong case together and managed to get the county court to overturn the councils decision. I will be provided with full housing duty! Olu is so knowledgeable within the housing field and even though we've never met in person, he showed so much empathy and fought my corner when I myself have given up.
