**AVOID AVOID AVOID** EDIT: My Review clearly needs to be more honest as they seem to have an answer for everything. My experience with NPS Laws has been absloutely horrendous. Initially I was handed Amandeep Delay as a case handler for a simple property remortgage but soon found out this was beyond her remit. My case was then handed to Yusuf Tariq (supposedly the Managing Director of this business). For weeks on end this person dragged his heels, I was told that this matter should be a 4-6 week turnaround yet he wasn't concerned about responding to my lenders enquiries, every time I called the office he was either just setting up (at 0930) or just arrived in the office (1100) and would call me back "shortly", I called on consecutive days from Wednesday with still ZERO response on Friday. If I handled my own business with as little care as this supposed MD, I would have no business. After two weeks of chasing, my patients was exhausted, fed up of excuses, lack of communication, and at my wits end on a Friday it took some stern words of advice on how to treat your clients, they proceeded to hang up on me not liking a few strong English words to then be met with the other Yusuf (Head of Conveyancing) to try and calm the matter. Ultimately I was happy for them to carry on with the conveyancing however they foolishly chose to terminate their agreement at the last hurdle, causing further delay but nonetheless pleased I don't need to deal with them any further. we have now parted company moving to a local firm to see our matter across the line (EDIT- to which the local firm have been fantastic about the situation) We are in week 8 with no care whatsoever from NPS. I am how chasing and waiting for my money back to which I have been told 3-5 days for them to "process". I will be reporting them to the law society for lack of care to their clients. EDIT - 2 weeks on and unsurprisingly I am still chasing for my undertaking to be returned.
We are disappointed to read this review, but unfortunately it presents a materially inaccurate account of what occurred. Firstly, this was not a “simple property remortgage”. The matter involved a number of non-standard and complex legal issues. At no stage did we guarantee that the transaction would complete within 4–6 weeks. As with any refinancing transaction, progress and completion are dependent upon the legal issues arising, the lender’s requirements and the enquiries that need to be dealt with. More importantly, we must correct the suggestion that you decided to “part company” with this firm because of delays. NPS Law terminated its retainer and ceased acting for you following your conduct towards members of our staff. We appreciate that conveyancing transactions can be frustrating and clients are entitled to raise concerns, chase progress and complain where they are dissatisfied. However, there is a clear distinction between expressing dissatisfaction and using obscene, abusive and inappropriate language towards members of staff. We take the welfare of our team seriously and will not tolerate our employees being spoken to in that manner, irrespective of the circumstances of a transaction. Following the incident, you were informed that we would no longer be able to act for you and that you would need to instruct alternative solicitors. Arrangements were also made for the transfer/return of the relevant documentation and for any monies due to you to be dealt with in accordance with our usual procedures and professional obligations. We accept that you were dissatisfied with the progress of the transaction and you are entitled to express that view. However, we cannot allow a public review to suggest that you simply chose to leave the firm because we did not care about your matter when, in fact, it was NPS Law that made the decision to terminate the solicitor-client relationship following unacceptable behaviour towards our staff. We wish you well with the completion of your refinancing with your new solicitors. NPS Law
I bought a flat earlier this year and my usual conveyancer was stacked with work... which turned out to be a real blessing because a friend recommended NPS who were fantastic. Charlotte handled my case and I can't recommend her highly enough - I now won't be using anyone else! Thanks again Charlotte and NPS :)

Fantastic company. Yusuf and his team were fast and efficient. I was meesed about by a firm called ONP solicitors for over 8 months. NPS got my remortgage sorted within a couple of weeks!!! I only had 2 months left before my already extended mortgage offer would've expired. I was genuinely stressed to the max before I was put into contact with this firm. Recently, we purchased a property via auction and were recommended to use NPS Law for the conveyancing process. This recommendation turned out to be an excellent one. We were faced with a tight deadline, having only twenty working days to complete the purchase, with the added complication of the Easter holiday falling within this period. The challenging time frame did not pose any issues for NPS Law. From the outset, their team was completely dedicated to our case. I had a terrible experience with NPS Law when I remortgaged earlier this year. I have instructed them with more than 3 months before my old mortgage deal was expiring, but they have managed to drag the process for 4 months and half, which resulted me in losing more than £700 as I have been forced to on the SVR with my old mortgage provider. The communication was very poor and they were very unaware of the processes (especially the Help to Buy work-stream) and I had to personally call HTB and the new mortgage provider to push things along.
