I had a terrible experience with NPS Law when I remortgaged earlier this year. I have instructed them with more than 3 months before my old mortgage deal was expiring, but they have managed to drag the process for 4 months and half, which resulted me in losing more than £700 as I have been forced to on the SVR with my old mortgage provider. The communication was very poor and they were very unaware of the processes (especially the Help to Buy work-stream) and I had to personally call HTB and the new mortgage provider to push things along.

My experience with NPS Law, particularly in dealing with Hamza Ahmad and Sofia Ahmad, has been extremely disappointing. The biggest issue throughout the transaction has been communication. Trying to speak to the person actually handling the matter has been unnecessarily difficult. Almost every time I have called, I have been unable to get through to Hamza or Sofia directly. Messages are left, calls are chased, and far too often I have found myself having to repeatedly follow up simply to understand what is happening with my own transaction. There has also been a frustrating amount of back-and-forth, unclear updates and a lack of proactive case management. At various stages I have had to specifically ask what remains outstanding, who is responsible for it, whether the other solicitors have been chased, and what is actually preventing matters from progressing. I fully appreciate that conveyancing can involve third parties and that not every delay is within a solicitor's control. However, what is within their control is communication, escalation, proactive chasing and keeping their client properly informed. Unfortunately, this is where my experience with NPS Law has fallen well below the standard I would reasonably expect from a professional conveyancing firm. When a client is involved in a significant property transaction, they should not have to continually call, email and chase their own solicitor for basic updates or repeatedly request that outstanding matters are escalated. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend NPS Law to anyone for conveyancing purposes. The whole process has caused unnecessary frustration and has been made considerably more stressful by the lack of accessible and proactive communication.

My wife, Zahra, has instructed Aima at NPS for conveyancing on her BTL purchase. Aima barely responds to emails, nor does she respond to calls. I am shocked at the level of service which we have experienced since instructing NPS.

Very pleased with the service I received during my house purchase. Communication was generally good, they were responsive when I had questions, and everything was handled efficiently. Buying a house can be stressful, but they made the legal side of the process relatively straightforward. Overall, a very good experience and I would use them again.

I cannot recommend Yousaf Shah at NPS Law highly enough. Yousaf assisted me throughout the purchase of my property and provided an excellent level of service from start to finish. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, approachable and efficient throughout the whole process. Buying a property can be stressful, particularly when there are delays and lots of paperwork involved, but Yousaf made the process much easier by keeping everything moving and dealing with matters promptly. What stood out to me most was how accessible and responsive he was. Whenever I had a question or needed an update, Yousaf was always available and took the time to explain things clearly. He handled everything quickly and efficiently while keeping me informed at every stage. I genuinely felt that my purchase was in safe and capable hands. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was excellent, and I really appreciate all the hard work Yousaf put into getting everything completed. Awful service! Delay after delay! Poor communication. I got asked for the same information repeatedly. I had to chase constantly for updates. I was told to go search Google when I had some questions from buyers' solicitors that I did not understand! I really wanted NPS to be a good company but they proved not to be.
