Really positive conveyancing experience

As a first time buyer, I wasn't sure what to expect from the conveyancing process, but Hamza made the whole experience easy to understand. His communication was excellent throughout - very responsive, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The transaction progressed smoothly from start to finish. On a personal level, Hamza is really friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the process. I would definitely recommend him and NPS Law. Thank you for making my home-buying journey such a positive experience!

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service, communication, and overall handling of my property purchase. As a first-time buyer purchasing an empty property with no onward chain, I expected the transaction to be relatively straightforward. Instead, it took over 20 weeks to complete, with very little progress being communicated to me throughout the process. The biggest issue throughout was the complete lack of communication. NPS Law provides a client portal which is supposedly designed to keep clients updated on the progress of their case. Unfortunately, the portal was rarely updated, making it almost entirely pointless as a source of information. The only way to find out what was happening was to continually chase for updates. I regularly submitted update requests through the portal, which allows customers to do so every 24 hours, and I also sent emails on an almost daily basis requesting information. Most of these requests were either ignored or met with vague responses. On the occasions when I did receive a reply, I was repeatedly told that my query would be passed to the solicitor and that someone would get back to me. In reality, that follow-up rarely, if ever, happened. What is particularly concerning is that it took approximately three weeks from the searches being returned for the solicitor to even review the case. During that period there was no meaningful communication explaining the delay or providing reassurance that any progress was being made. The situation became so frustrating that the only time I was able to speak to my solicitor and receive any meaningful feedback was after I expressed my intention to seek alternative legal representation. It should not take a threat of moving to another solicitor for a client to receive a response or an update on their own case. The poor communication continued right through to completion. On the day of completion, after receiving a phone call confirming that the funds had been transferred, I then received an email around 20 minutes later informing me that NPS Law had forgotten to send me documents that required both my signature and the signature of a witness. Despite having held my completion funds for three days beforehand, they had also failed to include an additional £1,000 that needed to be transferred that same day. This last-minute oversight caused unnecessary stress on what should have been one of the most exciting days of the entire process. I immediately tried to contact my solicitor to understand what had happened, but neither she nor her team were available. The member of staff who answered my call assured me that my query would be marked as urgent and that someone would get back to me as soon as possible. Instead, I waited over an hour and a half before eventually receiving a response by email. Given the urgency of the situation, this level of communication was completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, the poor service did not end after completion. I was owed money due to a service charge adjustment, yet 10 days after completion those funds still had not been transferred to me. I provided my bank details promptly when requested, but I was still left chasing money that was rightfully owed to me, with no meaningful communication explaining the delay. Buying a property is one of the most significant financial commitments a person can make. Clients should not have to spend weeks chasing basic information, wondering whether their file is being worked on, dealing with avoidable last-minute errors on completion day, or even after completion having to pursue money that is owed to them. Based on my experience, the service was characterised by poor communication, excessive delays, a lack of transparency, avoidable administrative errors, and a failure to keep clients informed at every stage of the transaction. I would not recommend NPS Law to anyone looking for a responsive, proactive, or customer-focused conveyancing service.

My wife, Zahra, is using the services of NPS Law for the conveyancing of her BTL purchase. This company is mostly unresponsive. They haven’t liaised with the seller’s solicitor or agent in weeks, nor do they reply to my wife’s emails in a timely manner. Avoid.

I bought a flat earlier this year and my usual conveyancer was stacked with work... which turned out to be a real blessing because a friend recommended NPS who were fantastic. Charlotte handled my case and I can't recommend her highly enough - I now won't be using anyone else! Thanks again Charlotte and NPS :)

Professional, Efficient and Excellent Communication I recently completed conveyancing and I couldn't be happier with the service I received from NPS Law LLP. A huge thank you to Yousaf, for the outstanding support throughout the entire process. From start to finish, communication was excellent, kept me informed every step of the way, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and hassle-free. I especially appreciated that Yousuf was always available to answer questions and even kept me updated over weekends, which really showed his dedication and commitment. Thank you all for your support, guidance, and everything you did to help, I've already recommended NPS Law LLP to friends and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and friendly conveyancing team.

I had a wonderful experience with NPS Law, who handled my property conveyancing. The team at the Middlesbrough office—Hamzah, Junaid, Hannah, and Harvey—were professional, approachable, and a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. Their communication was excellent, they kept me informed at every stage, and their timekeeping was outstanding. Everything was handled efficiently and with great attention to detail, making what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and hassle-free. I highly recommend NPS Law to anyone looking for reliable and professional conveyancing services. Thank you to the whole team for your excellent work!

**AVOID AVOID AVOID** My experience with NPS Laws has been absloutely horrendous. Initially I was handed Amandeep Delay as a case handler for a simple property remortgage but soon found out this was beyond her remit. My case was then handed to Yusuf Tariq (supposedly the Managing Director of this business). For weeks on end this person dragged his feels, I was told that this matter should be a 4-6 week turnaround yet he wasn't concerned about responding to my lenders enquiries, every time I called the office he was either just setting up (at 0930) or just arrived in the office (1100) and would call me back "shortly", I called on consecutive days from Wednesday with still ZERO response on Friday. If I handled my own business with as little care as this supposed MD, I would have no business. After two weeks of chasing, my patients was exhausted, fed up of excuses, lack of communication, and at my wits end on a Friday we have now parted company moving to a local firm to see our matter across the line. We are in week 8 with no care whatsoever. I am how chasing and waiting for my money back to which I have been told 3-5 days for them to "process". I will be reporting them to the law society for lack of care to their clients.
