Charged more than quoted!
Very unhappy that we were quoted £300 to alter our wills and then were charged £390. When my husband called to challenge this, we were told the price stood and the person he was speaking to hung up! Very disappointed as we have been a customer for years and so have our family. We will now take our custom elsewhere.

Disappointed
I have used this firm for thirty years and in recent years all aspects have become much less personal and clinical. The expansion of staff and limited hours some work is not conducive to a smooth process. Automated email responses advising a despise with be 2/3 working days is not acceptable. Solicitors should have a personal relationship with clients.

Family Matters
I want to say that Rebecca Baker who handled my case was absolutely amazing! She was so investigated and dedicated in my case. She was frank and to the point and told you facts not just what you wanted to hear. Not only was she my solicitor but she was also someone I could talk to in confidence regarding what was happening in my personal life. I am completely in awe of her as I wouldn’t be able to have such an established career and be a mother as well, I just don’t know how she juggles both. I would highly recommend Rebecca for any family matters especially where children are involved as being a mother herself she has a full understanding of dilemmas that mothers face. She is a credit to Catteralls.

I thought they went out of business by how little they communicated
They delayed our house sale by months simply due to them not doing their job. The whole chain was waiting for confirmation on many documents which they simply did not check. We had everyone try to contact them, our estate agents, our sellers estate agent, our buyers estate agent, our sellers solicitors, our buyers solicitors. Easier to get a hold of Father Christmas. I wouldnt use them if they paid me. Part timers.
