Nicola started working with Thompsons in 2015 when she commenced her traineeship within the Private Accident Team. Prior to working at Thompsons, Nicola worked as a Project Manager at her local Citizens Advice Bureau. This work involved providing practical advice, guidance, and support to individuals at all stages of their welfare applications, as well as representing clients at appeals tribunals. She was also a member of the local Welfare Reform Group, who liaised with DWP representatives to fight for changes in the processes that affected her clients. Nicola found it very rewarding to carry out this role, as she is passionate about working in a client support-focussed environment and helping individuals who are in need of her assistance. In starting her traineeship with Thompsons in 2015, Nicola was drawn to the ethos that Thompsons employ in helping the victims only. Nicola deals with helping clients in accidents at work claims, public claims, and occupier’s liability claims. Nicola also has significant experience in dealing with high-value fatal accidents and catastrophic cases in both pre-litigation and in Court.

    Excellent service, above and beyond

    It all began with a freak cycling accident on my way to work one oct morning in 2023, unbeknown to me was the cause of the accident was a pothole in the road , I have been cycling for 20years plus and had never experienced an incident like this, but needless to say that when I contacted Nicola at Thompsons she was willing to listen and filled me with confidence, subsequently the defendant settled today with what I can only describe as a generous offer , thank you Nicola

    Amazing knowledge and service

    I met Nicola at a networking event by chance and mentioned my injury which she recommended I follow up on to pursue a claim. I did that and thanks to that meeting have been compensated for my injury with the other party admitting liability.
