Nicola started working with Thompsons in 2015 when she commenced her traineeship within the Private Accident Team. Prior to working at Thompsons, Nicola worked as a Project Manager at her local Citizens Advice Bureau. This work involved providing practical advice, guidance, and support to individuals at all stages of their welfare applications, as well as representing clients at appeals tribunals. She was also a member of the local Welfare Reform Group, who liaised with DWP representatives to fight for changes in the processes that affected her clients. Amazing knowledge and service
I met Nicola at a networking event by chance and mentioned my injury which she recommended I follow up on to pursue a claim. I did that and thanks to that meeting have been compensated for my injury with the other party admitting liability. It is a great relief to have it officially recognised that I wasn’t at fault and am very grateful to have met Nicola and taken her professional guidance - she knows the legality of the compensation process very thoroughly!
