I first contacted Akhtar Ahmed while my brother was still abroad before he was extradited to the UK, to ask if he would take on his case. He was really helpful from the beginning and as soon as my brother arrived in the UK he made sure there were solicitors there to represent him at court. He then let me know that Mia Gregory would be dealing with his case. I honestly can’t thank Mia enough for everything she has done. She was amazing throughout the whole case, always helpful, caring, supportive and organised. She always kept us updated and replied to my emails whenever I had questions or was worried about something. I never felt like I had to chase her to find out what was going on. I’ve dealt with another firm in the past where I constantly had to chase for updates, so the difference with Mia was honestly like night and day. I always felt like she knew exactly what was going on and that I could trust her to deal with everything. That made such a difference during what was obviously a really stressful time for our family. Mia Gregory of ABV Soilicitors has been extremely helpful to both my son and myself over his prolonged Old Bailey court case, which resulted today in him being found Not Guilty. Throughout the very stressful year before court, which included for my son a month in Wormwood Scrubs prison on remand and almost a year on tagged bail curfew, Mia was supportiive, paitent, considerate, understanding and reliable, as well as being an excellent communicator.
