Every instruction is different and I become part of their business. It is exciting and interesting to understand new businesses and to be part of clients’ development. I have a young family so much of my spare time is spent with them. I enjoy socialising, eating out, and cooking. I keep fit through running, swimming and horse riding. I support school/nursery clubs attended with my family in their fundraising and local events.

    I recently used Melanie Bache, a partner in the commercial property department, in respect of a sale of an office investment with an overage. The deadline for exchange was the 31st March. Melanie was quick and efficient from start to finish. In particular the overage deed was pretty complicated as we needed to make sure that we have a reasonable chance of obtaining an overage if triggered. Quite often parties end up in court when trying to enforce an overage deed and Melanie was keen to have no grey areas. In the end we exchanged contracts at 8.20 on the Friday evening. All in all an excellent service as usual.
