Joanna leads Boys & Maughan's Canterbury family law team and has been a partner since May 2017. Joanna deals with a wide range of family issues, including: separation and divorce, financial arrangements arising from separation and divorce, arrangements for children on a separation or divorce, cohabitation disputes, preparation of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, dissolution of civil partnerships, acting for grandparents in respect of children matters, and injunctions. Joanna is sensitive to the emotional and practical difficulties that follow the breakdown of a relationship and the uncertainties that these changes bring. Joanna is committed to guiding clients through the legal process every step of the way and will strive to achieve the best and most suitable solution. Joanna recognises that each set of circumstances is different and aims to provide a personal service that is tailored to meet the needs of each client. A member of Resolution, Joanna is a trained collaborative lawyer, which means she also acts for clients who choose to divorce or separate using the collaborative law process.
