Kirsty joined the firm in February 2019 and is based in our Medway office. Kirsty qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2015 and specialises in residential property transactions, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
I graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2010 having studied a media and cultural studies degree but due to the lack of jobs as a result of recession decided to train as a legal secretary. I joined a Property Lawyers as an office junior whilst undertaking my studies. Once I finished my legal secretary diploma I soon began training to become a Licensed Conveyancer.
I have dealt with a varied caseload of residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, unregistered land, re-mortgages and transfers of equity. I love the diversity that the job brings as no two files are the same. I aim to build a good relationship with my clients as I am aware of what a stressful time moving home can be.
Outside of the office I enjoy socialising with friends and family, attending fitness classes and travelling.

Excellent Service
Our conveyancer Kirsty Martin and her team were nothing short of exceptional. They were everything you could want in the house buyer process. Thorough, prompt and approachable. All of our queries were answered within 24 hours and we were kept updated regularly. For the service we received we felt as though the price was extremely reasonable. Would recommend to anyone!

We used this firm to act for our house purchase, and we're very impressed with our solicitor, Kirsty and her team.

Excellent Conveyancing Service
Kirsty and her team were extremely efficient and helpful during our house purchase. Emails and calls were always answered on the same day, and communication was excellent.

Highly recommended! Professional and efficient!
I cannot express how lucky I was to find Martin Tolhurst Solicitors in purchasing my first home in the UK. Kirsty and the team was super helpful, quick in answering our requests (all phone calls answered immediately or replied within 1 working day), paid attention to details and answered my questions patiently. I heard too many horrible stories about house-buying solicitors but this did not happen to MT at all. Highly recommended!

Conveyancing for our new home purchase
We were recommended Martin Tolhurst through our estate agents and were extremely pleased that we employed their services for our house purchase.
