With Martin Tolhurst I have undertaken an re-mortgage and lease extension together, and the teams have been fantastic with their services. The lease extension is a long process and Surinder and the team kept me up to date and answered any questions I had with the process. Connor and the mortgage team kept me update with my re-mortgage process and when my funds were received and processed. It has been a long and stressful process, but the team at Martin Tolhurst provided the most professional service and kept me updated and were approachable at all time. I will be using again.

Sometimes you are the one that initiates and are the driving force to accomplish the goals and objectives. Sadly, without your input and attention, chasing and enquiring repeatedly becomes the norm.
I am delighted to say that my solicitor was always the one who was on the ball and chasing up responses from the other parties.
My sale became very protracted and at one point appeared to have totally collapsed, despite these setbacks there was a steady commitment to bring it to the finish line. Very grateful for the professionalism displayed.

Customer Service. What Customer Service??

The ability of Abdul Mutallib at Martin Tolhurst Solicitors is beyond awful. I paid my fee upfront £550 (paid November last year) for conveyancing. Now I have a serious buyer who is pushing for closure after the first sale fell through in March. I have rung five times this week to ask if he could return my call. I have even emailed him. On top of which very time you call, you speak to one of the well spoken receptionist, who seem to be stapled to their chairs unable to say anything else but "I can pass on a message". Do they come from Stepford? I also left a message for Richard Carter the MD. I was warned I would to be unlikely to get past his PA and less than likely for him to respond. I was reluctant to pay upfront, but was told how they operate. Feels like I have been properly MUGGED.
