Professionalism and Very Supportive

Connor was brilliant through the process of transfer of ownership on our property. This will be the third time that Connor had supported us in various conveyance services and he has been brilliant.

Sale of house following bereavement

Sarah from Martin Tolhurst dealt with the Probate application and will complete estate distribution following my father-in-law's passing earlier this year. We have been very happy with Sarah's work and support, so it seemed natural to ask if they could do the conveyancing on the father-in-law's house when the time came. Roger (the conveyancing solicitor) was very helpful, fully supporting the sale through an online auction. That sale has now completed, and we are more than happy with the service provided. We expect estate distribution to happen very soon.

Lease extension

We needed to extend our lease, and another homeowner recommended Martin Tolhurst. From the very beginning until we closed the deal, we had the pleasure of working with solicitor Surinder Ruprai. She was incredibly helpful, keeping us informed of our case’s progress every step of the way. Surinder was always just a phone call away whenever we had questions and ensured we were up to date with regular emails. The entire process was amazingly smooth! Thank you, Surinder and the Martin Tolhurst team.

A positive experience

In anticipation,a session with the Solicitors can be intimidating. I can quite honestly say that it was both educational and pleasant. I think that Mr Rothwells manner enables one to provide sometimes difficult and private family dynamics necessary to formulate the documentation in question, without feeling exposed or challenged. I appreciated the fact that if there wasn't always a fully satisfactory answer he didn't pretnd that there was one.He gave me the impression that he was looking at ones situation as if it were his own and giving advice on that basis. His manner is both professional and reassuring.

Gemma Nie has been acting on our behalf for over 3 years while we have endured 3 failed house sales and purchases. Throughout all this time Gemma has remained patient, kind, encouraging and extremely professional. Nothing seems to phase her, even when we were getting extremely frustrated and upset with the associated problems and delays of our house sale and attempted purchases.
I'm very happy to say we've finally completed on our sale and the purchase of our fourth bungalow, which will most definitely be our last!
We would thoroughly recommend Gemma Nie and her excellent team of secretaries for conveyancing.

As first time buyers, we were recommended Martin Tolhurst as conveyancers by Wards of Welling and have only good things to say about the experience. Kirsty and Ngozi were responsive and professional throughout. We felt that they represented our interests very well despite some challenging circumstances and would happily recommend them to any home buyer.

As first time buyers, we were recommended Martin Tolhurst by Wards. MT were friendly and they understood any concerns and worries we had trying to get everything sorted. My only problem was, there was a lot of paperwork coming through, and sometimes no explanation of what needed to happen, especially if I had missed something on the documents. And a lot of the times, I was sent repetitive documents, which has wasted a lot of printer ink and paper trying to keep it all together. It has taken from May to September to get our house, it's taken a while, and we had no chain either.
