I have been with the firm since 2008 and have developed a specialism for helping families and elderly clients with all aspects relating to mental capacity and their affairs, including power of attorney advice, Court of Protection applications and adult safeguarding concerns. With Katrina Vollentine, I head up our specialist care and capacity team, extending our expertise to clients all over the south west and beyond. Working in this area of law, I have developed a greater understanding of Alzheimer’s and Dementia disease and how they impact an individual’s mental capacity and their families around them. I also work with families who have children with additional needs, who are transitioning from child services to adult social services. When not working I like to spend as much time as possible with my family enjoying the beautiful South Devon area.

Professional Service
Mine was a very lengthy and complicated case involving deputy ship for my Father's financial affairs, and Probate following my Father's death. Costs were high, as they always are with solicitors, but the service by Alex Jenkins and Edward Lee of Wollens, who dealt with my Father's affairs, was very personal and much needed at a very traumatic time.

Professional Helpful and Friendly service
I had limited knowledge of solicitors until the death of my Mother, Edward Lee was so helpful and friendly. His explanations of the processes were clear and easy to follow and his honesty made me feel I was in control of how much of the process I needed him to do on my behalf.
