House Sale in Reading
An excellent "house sale" experience which we appreciated. The process was handled without unnecessary delay and showed professionalism throughout.
The sale process started in December and was ready for Completion before the end of February. Time was lost, but only due to the buyer failing to instruct his solicitor (independently advised of this).There was also an issue over a small piece of land theoretically blocking access to a stand-alone garden. This needed investigation and agreement over and above the standard sale process.
I would definitely use this practice again if a requirement arose.

Beating the stamp duty rise
We sold our house at the end of January to first time buyers and were buying a new build. We engaged Jo Martin and asked if we could beat the stamp duty rise on April 1st she could’nt promise but said she would do her best and she did! We completed on 31st March! It should have been 28th March but that wasn’t down to Jo. I found her very easy to deal with and she gave good advice. She even emailed me one Sunday morning about a small issue. She really worked hard to meet our deadline and we will always be grateful to her.

A reliable and professional team
We’ve liaised with Jo on two separate instances and her delivery on both occasions have been to a high standard. She has always been transparent when giving us options and happy to give us advice when needed. Both her and Mandy’s correspondence have been great. They are a reliable team whom we highly recommend.

Excellent service throughout the conveyancing process
Jo handled our house sale and purchase with exemplary care, support and timeliness. At every stage in the process, we knew what was happening and why, and really appreciated Jo's clear impartial advice on some trickier issues. We really felt that Jo was acting in our best interests from start to finish
