Fantastic experience

Only regret we have, is not using Jackie from the start for our transfer of deeds. Jackie was fantastic and kept us updated weekly and daily leading up to the completion date. All the team were superb and were always on the other end of the phone for advice. Thanks again.

Efficient

While having to sell my parents property Mark Stoker was very patient in explaining the whole process and promptly kept me updated. Even the Estate agent who had my parents property on the market said how quickly Mark got back to him and kept him informed.

House Sale in Reading

An excellent "house sale" experience which we appreciated. The process was handled without unnecessary delay and showed professionalism throughout.

The sale process started in December and was ready for Completion before the end of February. Time was lost, but only due to the buyer failing to instruct his solicitor (independently advised of this). There was also an issue over a small piece of land theoretically blocking access to a stand-alone garden. This needed investigation and agreement over and above the standard sale process.

I would definitely use this practice again if a requirement arose.

Hassle free experience

As a first time buyer it’s hard to gauge what this experience felt like compared to the norm, but was very satisfied with it all the same.

Beating the stamp duty rise

We sold our house at the end of January to first time buyers and were buying a new build. We engaged Jo Martin and asked if we could beat the stamp duty rise on April 1st she could’nt promise but said she would do her best and she did! We completed on 31st March! It should have been 28th March but that wasn’t down to Jo. I found her very easy to deal with and she gave good advice. She even emailed me one Sunday morning about a small issue. She really worked hard to meet our deadline and we will always be grateful to her.

Jackie Turkel and her team recently handled the conveyancing of the sale of my mother's house.
I received a very high level of service: professional, but not without kindness and empathy. I have already recommended her services and would not hesitate to do so again.

I have been dealing with the property of someone who died intestate in April 2023. I engaged Parfitt Cresswell to deal with all aspects of the deceased person's estate, including the sale of the property. Parfitt Cresswell have been most efficient and supportive in every aspect of this sale which had some complicated aspects which needed skilled and professional management. They have been courteous and helpful throughout and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone requiring conveyancing.
