Smooth Sale and Purchase experience
Myself and my wife are expecting our first newborn and we had the task of upsizing from a one bedroom flat to a 3 bed house. Once we found the home we wanted and struck a deal with the developer, we then had to choose a conveyancing service for both sale and purchase on a part exchange. HC solicitors were highly recommended and we haven't regretted taking to the recommendation. The process of sale and purchase was handled smoothly and professionally by HC solicitors. We were ready for completion within two months of paying a holding deposit for our new-build. This ease and smooth process made a world of difference for us because we had many other challenges to deal with outside our home move. As first time buyers using HTB, we were really nervous about the whole process. We’ve been told time and time again that solicitors are awful, they won’t respond, you’ll have to chase them etc. Well this was not our experience at all! Laura Oakley was incredible from day one, replying to emails within the day every time despite my many questions. We had an issue with having to ask for permission to keep pets in the property and she sorted this and got consent for us within days (as you can imagine this was sooo stressful for us so we were grateful for the speed she did this in!) I’ve called their offices a few times when I had questions I wanted to get sorted quickly and she (and whoever else picked up) always responded in a very friendly manner, like nothing was too much. We’ve just Exchanged and I’m hoping completion goes just as smoothly. Couldn’t recommend Herrington Carmichael more, I truly believe our journey has been so smooth due to Laura’s commitment to helping us
