Conveyancing with Boys & Maughan

I instructed Boys & Maughan to act for me for the sale of my property. Mr Tim Townsend was very helpful throughout especially when the first purchaser had to pull out and the next purchaser had many queries that were dealt with and sale completed.

Selling 10 Stonebridge Rd, Canterbury

The sale finally completed on February 27th 2026 but the sale was made and instructions given on November 1st 2025. I understood the mortgage had been approved at that time and to my mind it should not have taken so long to complete and quite honestly I would have thought Boys & Maughan should have pressurized the other side to move faster. As it was I was informed that they would be exchanging and completing "early next month" but I said I wanted completion this month or I would withdraw and that did the trick. Since working over here I am used to things moving much faster and time limitations imposed. It seems to me and from my extensive experience in the UK the sales procedure is far too laid back. I am just being frank and giving my feedback.
