Mike joined Gamlins Law in October 2017 from another Law firm based in North East Wales. He is a key member of our busy Criminal Department and also specialises in Road Traffic Law. After gaining a degree at University of Cardiff, Michael completed his Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law. His experience has been built up with firms in Merseyside and Wrexham from the Police Station to the Magistrates and Crown Court. Mike is an excellent communicator and effective advocate in Court. Michael is accredited by the Law Society of England & Wales to practice in criminal law and is a qualified Duty Solicitor at the police station and Magistrates Court.

    Fantastic service

    After receiving a traffic offence, with court summons. I was advices to seek legal aid. On phoning I was passed through to Mr Pugh who reassured and explained what was going on as I was at a complete loss. Was all sorted and finalised within a few days. So grateful for the efficiency, professionalism and knowledge to get this sorted. Thank you so much

From the very first point of contact right through to representing me in court, Micheal was phenomenal. He took on what I truly believed was a “no hope” criminal case, where a prison sentence felt almost certain. Thanks to his experience, dedication, and calm professionalism, he achieved a far better outcome than I ever imagined – a short suspended sentence instead of immediate custody. His expertise and commitment in court genuinely shone through. On top of his skill, Micheal has an incredibly approachable manner. If you suffer with anxiety or stress about legal matters, he is exactly the person you want by your side. He puts you at ease, explains things clearly, and gives you confidence in the process.
