My wife and I were very happy with the proactive service provided by Marcus Baum. Matt Clark and his team kept us informed in a friendly yet professional way. We faced a couple of late issues due entirely to others in the chain, which nearly jeopardised our purchase. Matt Clark stepped in and calmly resolved the issues, enabling the purchase to complete in good time. This trust pilot review does not do Marcus Baum solicitors the justice with the service that they have provided me and my husband with buying our first home. Matthew Clark, Bradley Holt, Debbie Whitcombe and Yolanda Hollis have all provided exceptional sevice throughout the legal process and we couldn’t recommend them enough.

BTMK acted for us in the remortgage of our property and simultaneous purchase of a buy to let property.The team involved were Matthew Clarke, Holly Pain, Hazel Bourke and Rebecca Witterick.
We were extremely impressed at the efficiency, helpfulness and courtesy shown to us. The team were readily available to speak to and if not, our calls were returned promptly. Similarly, emails were answered promptly and anything we didn't understand was explained to us. The transaction was completed in under 3 months, which, during lockdown, was very impressive.

Attentive, Proactive Service
The last time we moved house we used a remote conveyancer and it was a shocking service - cutting a long story short, the ombudsman refunded all the fees.
This time we were recommended a local service by a good friend and it was a completely different experience. 2023 was a slow year for house sales and we were in a long 8 property chain which was on the brink of failure several times - we prepared ourselves for disappointment..
We got great advice from Matthew and Hazel that helped us navigate the challenges including assistance to improve the coordination between the 9 conveyancing teams and 8 estate agents involved. Without their first class service, clear communication and ability to build strong relationship with the agents, I don't think we would be in our dream home now - or possibly ever.

An all round excellent service
We used BTMK to remortgage one of the properties we own in our business. Being a solicitor myself, I know what I expect in terms of service from a law firm and BTMK met and surpassed those expectations. Their pricing is incredibly competitive and their communication was prompt and friendly. Professional, informed and reliable
