I am a Solicitor at the firm specialising in the purchase of new build properties and related sale transactions. I obtained a Degree in Criminology (BSc) from Southampton University in 2010 and started working at a high street firm in 2011 as a Legal Assistant. I subsequently went on to complete my Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in Guildford and obtained a training contract at the same firm with seats in Wills and Probate, Conveyancing and Family. I studied for my Legal Practice Course in Guildford alongside my training contract, obtained my Law Degree (LLB) in June 2015 and qualified as a Solicitor in August 2016. In July 2017 I joined the UK National Firm Shoosmiths as a Solicitor in their Conveyancing Department. I jointly ran a team of case handlers dealing with high value property transactions in the Surrey area. My role included checking the title of properties being purchased, dealing with complex enquiries on sales (including Leasehold, Freehold and Shared Ownership properties) and compliance checking files before exchange and completion. I also frequently engaged with the referrers to encourage a streamlined process and ensure a positive client experience was achieved. Now at Coffin Mew, I assist clients with their new build property purchases and related sales. I enjoy the fast paced environment of conveyancing and the challenges that New Homes brings

Excellent service for new build first time buyer
Charlotte was our conveyancer throughout our purchase and was knowledgeable, quick to help us with queries and never needed to be chased. When Charlotte was out of the office her inbox was being monitored by an assistant who would respond same-day to give us an update if they could.
