Settling of my Father’s Estate
Dad died December 18 2024. I live in Canada, my sister in South East Asia. I was executor of his will and was ill myself at that time. Settling the estate was from overseas was a daunting prospect. I contacted Elise Mason and asked GWCA to ask if they would be executors. Best decision I ever made. Trainee solicitor Yousteina (Tina) Hakeem was assigned to help deal with matters. She was excellent. In March Gemma Parker a Paralegal took over. She handled the rest of the case, through probate and conveyance and disbursement and sign off in March 2026. Gemma did a wonderful job. An absolute pleasure to work with. Jeanette Blackwood, Senior License Conveyancer, also did a great job. I would have no reservations in using GWCA again or recommending them to others. My only criticism is that Paralegals are not included in the staff listings within the review. Let's face it, they do most of the work and Gemma was brilliant. Paul J. Ingham, Canada.
