Abigail is an Associate Solicitor in our Employment team. Abigail qualified in 2010 and has returned to the team following a career break. Abigail advises both businesses and individuals on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law and HR matters. Her work encompasses a wide range of employment matters, including grievance and disciplinary procedures, unfair dismissal, breach of contract claims, redundancy, termination packages and advising and negotiating restrictive covenants. Abigail works closely with the Corporate and Commercial Teams to handle the employment aspects of commercial transactions. Abigail also enjoys presenting in-house training to employers and line managers on topical employment law issues. Abigail enjoys employment law for its intricate, constantly evolving nature. From everyday HR queries to complex high-stakes issues, Abigail provides clear, strategic and commercially focused advice to help businesses manage their workforce and legal risks effectively. Outside of work, Abigail is busy with her young family and can often be found at dance competitions or on the side of a football or rugby pitch!
