Purchase of property
We did not have a straightforward purchase, with the first property falling through and some challenges with the second. Laura persistently rose to the challenges we were confronted with professionally and efficiently. She kept us very much in the loop and offered sound advice.

By far the best conveyancers
I've used two or three firms over the years and Birkett Long are by far the best. Sensible fixed pricing, clear efficient communications, helpful and pleasant staff. The best thing is that Laura and her team always respond very quickly and they are just on the case! It made the whole process of selling a property much easier. Would thoroughly recommend.

Highly Recommend!
I had the pleasure of Laura as my solicitor for the purchase of my first home. She was efficient and kind and dealt very well with all of the organisation and requirements that needed fulfilling for the purchase. Excellent experience for a first-time buyer
Laura provided excellent service throughout. She skillfully struck a balance between challenging the vendor and ensuring the process kept progressing. Conveyancing on transfer of part of title
We felt very safe in Laura’s care. She is calm, professional and unflappable and is readily available on the phone. The sale involved preemptive rights on the part of the property we didn’t sell but she arranged all that calmly and without fuss. She is very friendly and supported by other good people. We will definitely use them again.

Nightmare House Sale
Awarding 5 ⭐️ and then giving a title of Nightmare - might seem odd. I agreed the sale of my house in mid January 2023, we finally completed on 3 September. If it hadn’t been for the superb support of Laura Finnegan and the staff at Birkett Long I would have been sectioned by now.

Super Efficiency
Laura Finnegan is absolutely excellent, you never feel you have been left at the bottom of a pile! Everything is done with due speed and diligence, she is easy to get hold of, returns calls, and does the job. My daughter experienced the same service with Laura through a difficult purchase, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. She also has a n excellent team. She replaces Kurt Goddard, and like him is a credit to the company.

Transfer from sole to joint ownership with spouse
We found Laura to be particularly efficient, professional and timely and she brought both transfers to a rapid completion whilst keeping us totally informed along the way and was proactive in seeking information from third parties which started to slow the transaction. All done in a friendly manner. Perfect.
