Jackie is an experienced Chartered Legal Executive based in our Property Department. Having qualified in 1995 Jackie worked for a number of City based law firms until 2011 when she gave up the daily commute to work for a local Buckinghamshire based law firm for 14 years. Outside of work Jackie is kept busy by three young granddaughters and enjoys walking her golden retriever and gardening. Jackie’s approach is direct and straightforward, always speaking in clear, simple terms that make complex ideas easy to understand. Jackie has a wide range of experience including:  Sales and purchases, of freehold and leasehold properties.  Shared ownership, Help to Buy, retirement homes.  New properties, listed properties, second homes and land.  Auction sales/purchases, buy-to-let.  Mortgages, including equity release.  Lease-related work – extending, varying, modernising.  Acting for leaseholders buying their freehold.  Adverse possession.  Transfers, for family.     Jackie and Marilyn managed our sale and onwards purchase and were absolutely brilliant from the start. Communication was great, everything for us was made so simple. Even when our buyers' solicitors were finding frankly bizarre things to raise enquiries on at the last possible moment they were unphased, managed it perfectly, and it never felt like the chain was in any danger. I can't speak highly enough of Jackie, Marilyn, and BWK, would absolutely recommend to anyone.

    Impeccable service in every way

    Jackie and Marilyn have both been excellent, with great communication and advice at every step of the way. Our purchase and sale each had issues / complications but Jackie managed all of them perfectly, provided great advice and solutions to each and stood her ground for us when required. It was clear to us (and our estate agents) that we were getting a much better service and advice than all the others in our respective chains. Simply excellent.
