A very messy divorce that seemed was never going to end, was made so much better by Shelley's help, professionalism, knowledge and calm nature. People say in divorce it's always in the woman's favour that is not the case. You can see yourself at a point where you have worked extremely hard as the bread winner whilst raising a family and keeping a home about to lose everything to someone who has contributed nothing. Without Shelley's help that would have happened as so many times in this process I wanted to give up due to the stress of it all. I am so glad I chose her to help me she tells the truth even if it's not what you want to hear but she absolutely gets you to fight for what is fair. What you pay in fees you save overall and what's worth more is the feeling that you have done everything right. Me and my children are starting our next chapter finally thanks to her help.

Despite the reason for needing mediation I found Shelley to be extremely, professional, friendly and helpful throughout. She immediately made me feel at ease and made me aware step by step on what to expect during the mediation. I felt that she was always completely neutral and we managed to come to an agreement within the appointment time. I would definitely recommend this service and Shelley to anyone. I wish I had gone to her sooner to sort out my issues

I found working with Shelley made the process of divorce settlement via the One Lawyer Model to be as easy as I imagine it could ever be. She is extremely professional but also brings a human touch to the process. She explains the process clearly and is calm and pragmatic throughout what can be a stressful time. Shelley and everyone else I dealt with at the firm are approachable, friendly and get back to you in a timely and appropriate manner. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can’t recommend Shelley enough- she was so professional even when the other party weren’t! she gave me the right advice, always making sure that everything was Chid focus. Shelley kept me up to date with everything received and before going court- she would always let me know what I would/should expect. When Shelley was on leave, members of Shelley's team were always at hand to help and let me know what was happening. I was always able to get hold of someone and it was great to be kept in the loop throughout the process. Shelley is calm but very meticulous in her approach, it almost felt like she was a therapist at times. Costs were clearly indicated, and you knew the best solution was thought of as Shelley detailed everything, so there was never any gaps for mistakes. Shelley's predicted outcomes were on spot every time! What more could you ask from a professional representing your case. I defiantly felt like I was in safe hands. Shelley always understood my situation and feelings, she always had my best interest at heart. She is very clear with her recommendations and often advised me of what the best outcome would be for my family, I cannot recommend her enough. When the case was over, I missed Shelley! How often do people say that about their solicitors! she is someone who will always support you, deal with your situation in upmost empathy and dare I say fierce in the courtroom when you need her to be! Indeed a tenacious solicitor in my eyes!

Used for mediation in 2022/3 It’s only now when I look back that this was worth every penny, challenged appropriately what is clearly not going to work for the child. Shelley really helped me at what was one of my lowest points, finding myself stuck in the divorce process while juggling parenthood and working full time I did not have a clue what I was entitled to and it soon became a messy legal battle. Shelley reassured me every step of the way, you can tell she genuinely cared about her client and what is in their best interests at no point did I think it was all about money for her it was genuinely about helping us divorce as fairly and easily possible. Shelley tells you what you need to hear not always what you want but her vast experience means that you get the very best advice even when you are doubting yourself and want to just throw the towel in. I would recommend her to anyone starting the divorce process. After experience with a few different solicitors what became clear was a lot where money driven this is not the case with Shelley. I am very grateful me and my children can start our next chapter because of her help, advice and support. Thank you

Looked around for a legal advisor who could advise and steer us in the right direction, Thornton Jones from the very first phone call to the final communication were professional and explained everything in detail. We never once felt they were there just to make money, in fact Shelley gave advise and explained different ways to do things and how best to approach each part of the process.
