Selling a house can be stressful, and anything that removes some of that stress is welcome! This is where Alison from Thornton Jones helped enormously with managing that stress .
She provided all the information that we needed and answered any questions that arose during the sales process. Communications from her were always clear, concise, which helped us understand what was going on and what to expect next.
I have no problem with recommending Alison and the company she represents.

Alison Jewell handled the transfer of my equity in my previous home to my wife & the purchase of my new home. Alison kept me informed throughout & always responded quickly to any questions I had.
A year later I referred back to Alison when it was discovered that my wife’s solicitors had not sent off the paperwork to the Land Registry as they had ceased trading. Alison once again was quick to respond & help me through this problem too. Throughout both pieces of work Alison was unbelievably quick to reply to any correspondence I sent her & her advice & help always reassured me.

Myself and my partner used Thornton Jones when we recently bought our first home. We didn’t know anything about buying a property but the ladies at Thornton Jones in Garforth made everything super easy to understand. They worked very quickly, efficiently, explained everything in simple terms so we could understand. Any questions we had I was able to pick up the phone or send an email in confidence, knowing I’d have an answer back by the end of that day. The process never felt stressful or overwhelming.
I’ve recommended Thornton Jones to two of my friends who are also looking to buy their first home, once of which has contacted them already.

We are close to completing on the sale of a house and Clare and her team have been fabulous. Jess who has been our main point of contact has been worth her weight in gold. The solicitors acting for our buyer have not been too great but due to Jess constantly chasing and being one step ahead, she's made what should be a very stressful process relatively pain free. Thornton Jones also use a great app so you can see the stages throughout the process. These are 100% the solicitors you should use, you wont get any better.

Sam and the team at the Garforth office have done an amazing job of handling the conveyancing for a sale earlier in the year and more recently a purchase.
We only needed to visit the office once (and that was due to a requirement of our mortgage lender) - everything else was done via email, post and phone.
Regular updates via email and able to track via an app too. All questions answered and very friendly service from everyone at Thornton Jones.
Possibly not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for.
Would highly recommend.
