Karen Ashton handled the house sale and Zenera Mahmood handled the Probate matter.
I asked PCB for a conveyancing quote in 2025 and they came out about £200 more, so I went with another firm. I soon regretted that after I found the other solicitor to be slow and unresponsive. I rang PCB to see if I could switch and it was then that I first spoke to Karen Ashton and was immediately impressed by her calm, measured approach and obvious knowledge. She was honest in her answers and, as it turned out, the house purchase ended up being completed using a lender's solicitor: but I never forgot Karen and when, in 2026, we needed to sell a different property, she was the first person I thought of to do the conveyancing. She has not disappointed. She is thorough, incisive, reliable and very approachable (answering calls and emails without delay) and we have particularly appreciated her calmness and support throughout the house sale process. I thoroughly recommend her and will use her services again.
