Good experience

Prompt and helpful service. I was not the most organised client but Emma and Deborah kept me on track and I was able to complete my house sale on schedule. It is also worth noting that around this time several of my family members were buying and selling and Emma and Deborah were by far the most proactive and responsive solicitors we interacted with. I'm a bit old school and doing everything by cyber space and post still seems alien to me but that doesn't mean we received a bad service. I do think it takes out the human touch side of it a bit.
There were a couple of minor queries that I would have liked to elaborate on but I didn't feel able to in writing or even over the phone so the odd face to face would always be helpful.
It's strange in some ways as we did have this when we sold our other house through you and used Robin in Knighton.

Emma and Debbie were patient throughout which is just as well as it took almost 6 months for what should have been a straight forward house sale. No reflection on PCB it was down to issues and queries on the buyers side plus probate.

A painful house buying experience for me using these solicitors. My experience was that they were slow and unresponsive and got certain details wrong.... with lots of duplication. My original solicitor with PCB was replaced with a locum after contracting Covid.... and it went wrong from there.
I got to the point where I needed to ask a partner to step in who reviewed, and overruled the other solicitor in some cases. They told me that my £1,200 quote had increased significantly (without notification) and they would accept £2,000.00 (which I paid). However, the solicitor I used to sell my house (yes I retracted using PCB for selling) went through without any fuss or hassle, despite buyer problems.

We were selling and buying a new home. It turned out not to be straight forward but Jessica was amazing and worked long hours to get it through before the stamp duty deadline. Can't speak highly enough of how great she was and would recommend her any day. All done with her beautiful smile.
