Sarah’s career in law began in 2012 where she worked in a law firm on reception. Sarah then joined the accounts department and ventured into residential conveyancing from there, starting in the post completion team. Since then, Sarah has worked her way from assistant to Paralegal stage, completing her CILEX Level 3 in Residential Conveyancing in 2019. She is now currently studying to become a Licenced Conveyancer. In her spare time Sarah has obtained a Forensic Psychology Master’s degree and her Psychology degree, both through the Open University. When Sarah is not studying, she enjoys going to the cinema, going for walks and being by the sea.

House purchase.
It was the first time we had any dealings of this kind with wolferstans.we were concerned early on that things seemed to be taking longer than they should.but after finding out that the person we were dealing with had left suddenly things began to go ahead a lot quicker. I can say that Samantha Davies and also Sarah Duncan did everything they could to bring our purchase to a conclution as quickly as possible. Thank you both for youre amazing work.

Conveyancing of my late father's house
I would like to thank Samantha and her team, Hannah and Sarah, at the Plympton branch for their help and professionalism during the sale of my late father's house. Any queries I had were answered promptly and although I had problems with the initial estate agent, once that was resolved by instructing another, everything was handled very smoothly.

Very happy with the service

property sale
An excellent service. Fully explained in an opening letter with an accurate estimate of costs.
Prompt response to my emails. I never visited the office once. All communication by email and phone. Very useful when I live in Suffolk. On receiving a completion advice text the money was transferred to my bank account faster than I could open my banking app! Can not beat that for efficiency and service. Superb.

Good communication , prompt response

Outstanding Service in complex residential conveyance
After our Uncle’s death my sister and I became his executors. Wolferstans handled the sale of his house superbly, taking the following challenges in their stride:
• Knowing our uncle (and therefore his executors) didn’t have title to the property (we later acquired title from the Land Registry)
• Knowing that the executors didn’t have the legal right to sell the house yet (we later acquired limited probate)
• A need to prepare sale documents within a few weeks of being instructed so the house could be put up for auction almost immediately
• Completion was unexpectedly brought forward by a week (at the purchasers’ request)
• The immediate unexpected loss of our conveyancing solicitor, Nikki Cobb, as soon as we had instructed Wolferstans, leaving her paralegal in charge of a complex and difficult conveyance
• We (the clients) live in Staffordshire and Hertfordshire, so everything needed to be handled by phone and email
We were very impressed by Nikki Cobb who was not daunted by the fact that we didn’t have title or probate at the time. The depth and width of her understanding of legal processes regarding acquiring title made her willing to take us as clients when other solicitors with less knowledge were more cautious. In the even her confidence was justified.
The star of the show has been Sarah Duncan, Nikki’s paralegal. Left pretty well unsupervised with a difficult case she has been brilliant. She has prepared all the paperwork correctly and on time. Her professionalism with queries has been outstanding – she was very accessible – answering calls and emails almost immediately. Most queries she knew the answer herself, where she felt she needed support she consulted senior colleagues and when she felt completely out of her depth she referred us to them directly. I would want her to do all my conveyances.
Louisa Wansell eventually took over from Sarah. She has been diligent and expert – and unphased by the prospect of completing the sale a week earlier than planned....she already had everything in place.
All in all we would recommend Wolferstans to anyone looking for outstanding performance in residential conveyancing.
