We appointed Herrington Carmichael to assist us with the legalities of selling our home, and purchasing a newbuild property.
The support we received from all involved was fantastic. Everything was explained very clearly, and response times were impeccable. The team here made this a lot less stressful, and were extremely knowledgeable when it came to the formalities of purchasing a new build.
Everyone we dealt with was polite, courteous, kind, and personable. We couldn't have asked for more.
We would highly recommend this firm!

I had to do a lot of the work myself.
Solicitor left halfway through the process and I was not informed.
They also took far to long!
The fees were very overpriced and I would not recommend them to ANYONE

We were recommended Herrington Carmichael by our developer Bellway. Having had quotes from other firms it was refreshing to see everything outlined clearly and not hidden away in the T&Cs.
The communication was above and beyond what we expected, with response times sometimes within minutes which made our lives a lot easier.
No question went unanswered and Roisin was reassuring when deadlines were getting tight.
Would not hesitate to use them again in the future if that ever is the case!

We were recommended to use Herrington Carmichael by the developers we were purchasing from, and we are glad we took up the recommendation. We had a reasonably lengthy chain and were under pressure to complete quickly. The service we received from all members of the team was excellent. Things were actioned quickly, communication was excellent and they persevered even when there were difficulties. We would definitely recommend them to others.
