I'd like to add a glowing review for Harpreet Sihra, Faizah Chaudhri and Stephanie Glover from K J Smith Solicitors.
Without going into too much detail about my divorce, I will say that it has been split into 2 parts - the childrens matters and the finances.
As soon as Harpreet, Faizah and Stephanie took over my case, everything started to feel like it was moving forward quickly, and I can honestly say that they have truly been my pillars of strength when at times I have been at my very lowest. Their kindness and empathy is outstanding.
The childrens matters saw me attending 3 court proceedings and I was supported and looked after throughout. Faizah was absolutely incredible at preparing me beforehand. She has vast amounts of knowledge and is so caring with her approach. She spent time with me looking through every single detail of my case and she really calmed and reassured me when I felt like things had got too much.
I was frightened of going to court, but Stephanie met me on the day so I wasn't walking in alone. She stayed by my side and kept me informed of exactly what was happening at all times. In fact, I feel really lucky because Stephanie has followed both sides of my divorce, and has been there to offer invaluable help, support and advice throughout.
The finances side of my divorce is being looked after by Harpreet. She truly is a complete powerhouse and is working so hard to try and help me reach a settlement and finalise my divorce. Her knowledge is phenomenal and she continues to stand strong in order to help me walk away with the best outcome possible. The help, kindness and support Harpreet is giving me is amazing.
I can highly recommend the team at K J Smith Solicitors to anyone who needs them.

Just wanted to thank KJ Smith for being superb practice. What attracted me to this legal firm and especially Mrs Laura Gusatu was, that she took my request seriously and replied to me in 12 hours due to the nature of my case. Bear in mind, that she spent hours explaining to me in detail and advising me how to proceed with no charges it was all free. Mrs Laura gave me legal advice related to my query. Not the least, she was empathetic, showing her respect and consideration for me as a human being which makes such a difference to know someone is genuine and unbelievably supportive.
Mrs Laura Gusatu answered all my questions promptly and fully either by email or on the phone, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, with a very kind and understanding nature that helped no end through what was a stressful time. I would highly recommend the company KJ Smith and Laura Gusatu in particular, she made everything easier in a very human way.

I chose to take the steps towards seeking a Child Arrangements Order independently, but with one-hour consultations for general advice in advance of each of the two court hearings. Having initially booked the free consultation with Edward, I proceeded to book an appointment with him at each of the two steps and his practical advice provided me with the orientation I needed and enabled me to engage with the court process confidently.

When a relationship ends, this is never a happy or comfortable period in anyone’s life. The care and professionalism provided by KJSmith has been exemplary.
From my very first appointment, gratis, with your team (which went over time however was so informative and important for me) - I knew from this point you cared as a Service.
I didn’t have a lot of money nor did I have a lot in the way of assets, however Edward coached me through the process so considerately, prepping me for the next steps and being there when I had questions- I actually resolved my marriage feeling more confident and stronger than before, of which I credit Ed for helping to develop this in me. I have taken the knowledge I gained in this chapter with me in other areas of my life…

Chris Sutton greatly helped me in my custody dispute. He is child centric, pragmatic and supportive in achieving the child's wishes. Whilst not a pleasant experience Chris and the team were supportive, understanding and made a difficult situation easier by having a plan as opposed to being reactive.
I don't wish anyone to be in my situation but if they ever find themselves in that position, phone Chris.
