It's been several months now and I haven't heard back from them, I call with no answer. Bunch of unprofessional people.
These are the worst firm of solicitors I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Appointed by my insurance company for a vehicle accident claim back in Feb 2023. Now October 2023, after poor and tardy communication (their "OIC@bottonline.co.uk" email hub is pathetic as they never respond) they send me an email saying that unfortunately they gave me an inaccurate valuation of my injuries and that it is £1000 less than originally agreed. Apparently due to a technical error on my electronic file - whatever that means !! They have also failed to grasp what compensation I'm actually claiming. They're absolutely useless and incompetent.
These people are harassing me on the motor finance claims. I signed up on the no win no fee for the supreme court motor finance claim which the supreme ruled against the court of appeals verdict. Now Botts & Co are acting like the represent me to FCA. How do they even think this is legal? I never signed up for anyone to represent me with FCA. Just the supreme court case which from my perspective, was lost because the supreme struck down the court of appeal ruling. This should have been the end of the relationship. But Botts & Co have carried on like I authorised them to represent me at FCA. They even send me stupid emails to say I should not speak to other firms. This is completely illegal and absurd. I am sure they are trying to pull this stunt on so many other people. I have sent them several emails to stop saying the represent me after the supreme court ruling because they don't. Is there anyone at SRA and FCA who can stop this company trying to do everything possible to misuse personal data and misrepresent facts.
