Our parents used Alexander & Co for their wills many years ago. When our mother passed away a few months ago A&Co were very efficient when dealing with the collection of our parents’ wills. So when it came to dealing with the sale of our parents’ house, we knew that they would be the right company of solicitors to use. We were not disappointed. From the first time I spoke to Jessica whilst on holiday in France, I felt confident we would be in good hands. Jessica was very professional, efficient, friendly and we established a good rapport from the start. She really took the stress out of selling our parents’ house. We also had an occasional call with Kate, who was also very friendly and professional. Thank you both.

Worst Conveyancing Experience Ever
This review is for a different branch.
Standard property sale with no upward chain. Took at least 2 months longer than it should have. Poor and often incorrect communication from solicitor. Frequent chasing required. We had to chase responses to enquiries. Delay cost us over £2,000 in bills and interest that could have been avoided. Inaccurate completion statement. The estate agent was not able to get regular updates so we had to chase on their behalf. Overall, a very poor service and not one I would recommend.

Katie was very thorough going through every detail of the purchase of our apartment and pointing out things she wasn't happy about, which we'd never thought of. It all got sorted out in the end due to Katie being like a terrier with a b o n e (website won't let me put that word without spacing!) over one particular issue with permission for a door. In hindsight, we are glad she did this, but at the time, we just felt it was delaying things, but she was, of course, right to do it.

Alexander and Co were amazing from start to finish. We had the pleasure of working with Kate Barry and Beth Norris. They treat you as humans rather than numbers. For example, we were first time buyers and a seller pulled out on a Friday afternoon out of the blue. Even though it was 5pm on a Friday, Kate answered my call and reassured me that all would be ok and I should contact Kate when needed on our next potential property.
