    Megan Foley-Chalkley - Wills & Probate.

    There are times in your life where all you can do is ask for help, which is scary and vulnerable. One of those moments came for us when our terminally unwell mum had an unexpected rapid deterioration in her condition. Working as a Solicitor myself (separate company), I appreciate the complexities in selecting a Solicitor - particularly finding someone that you can trust. As a family we are incredibly grateful to have found and instructed Megan to be our Wills & Probate Solicitor. She was the right person to help guide us through an incredibly difficult time. She was always ready to answer any questions, and to be realistic and compassionate with our wishes. She supported us through the whole process with sincere care. If we were to find ourselves back in a difficult time in the future, there is no doubt that I would be instructing Megan and Alexander & Co with complete trust and confidence.

    Excellent service for preparation/submission of Power Of Attorney & Will Writing

    We needed to get PoA & a Will sorted for my mother in law and needed a solicitors close to her home. Alexander & Co were within easy walking distance & from the first contact with them we felt comfortable and in good hands. Their communication, efficiency, friendliness, professionalism and overall standard of service was excellent. The whole process was explained clearly and in a non pressurised way to my mother-in-law by Andrea who took us through the whole process from start to finish. Any queries we had were addressed quickly & we were kept up to date with the whole process. We can highly recommend the services & support we received at their Alvaston branch and the staff were extremely helpful.

    Excellent Service

    I went to Alexander & Co after searching on line for recommended solicitors as I needed to update my Will and also needed to set in place Powers of Attorney. I made an appointment and went to see Claire Haywood in their Loughborough office. Claire clearly explained what was necessary and the whole procedure went very smoothly.       Alexander and Co were amazing from start to finish. We had the pleasure of working with Kate Barry and Beth Norris. They treat you as humans rather than numbers. For example, we were first time buyers and a seller pulled out on a Friday afternoon out of the blue. Even though it was 5pm on a Friday, Kate answered my call and reassured me that all would be ok and I should contact Kate when needed on our next potential property.
