I cannot comment on the quality of the legal service itself, as I never had the opportunity to use this firm. However, my experience with their initial customer service was disappointing. I contacted the firm twice to request a conveyancing quote for a property purchase. On both occasions, my details were taken and I was told someone would contact me, but I never received a call back. When I called the second time, it appeared there was no record of my previous enquiry, which was frustrating. As I was keen to get the purchase process started, I could not continue waiting and had to instruct another solicitor instead. I appreciate that firms can be busy, but a simple courtesy call or update would have been appreciated, even if there was a delay in providing a quote. It's a shame, as this firm was recommended to me and I was hoping to use them. Unfortunately, based on my experience, the lack of communication came across as unprofessional and resulted in a poor first impression.

I was kept informed throughout the sale by the appointed solicitor (Chris Maughan) and the team. Unfortunately the buyers solicitor held up the sale by repeatedly asking the same questions. The partner of the practice (Katie Basey) had to step in to get the sale moving which was extremely helpful. I was very satisfied with this solicitors professionalism.

Excellent all round, we are very happy with the service. They were extremely responsive whenever we had questions. Our buyers solicitor were extremely slow but they chased constantly on our behalf. Shout out to Kimberley, Chris, Alexis, Gursharan and lovely ladies on reception :)

Alexander and Co were amazing from start to finish. We had the pleasure of working with Kate Barry and Beth Norris. They treat you as humans rather than numbers. For example, we were first time buyers and a seller pulled out on a Friday afternoon out of the blue. Even though it was 5pm on a Friday, Kate answered my call and reassured me that all would be ok and I should contact Kate when needed on our next potential property. After searching the market for a conveyancing solicitor i found the Alexander & Co initial start up very easy.

Used Alexander & Co for both the sale of my property and purchase of our new one. Graham and Sharon communicated well throughout the process and I didn't have to chase them at all. They were very patient and communicative with us throughout the delays caused on the sale of our property (caused by our buyers). Graham set up a video call to go through the searches and although this wasn't my first purchase, I found this very useful and learned a great deal from it. This is the first time I've not felt ripped of with conveyancing fees, so thoroughly recommend.

Very reliable solicitors, communication was was great kept me up to date on all aspects. Also made things easy to understand and didn't use over intellectualised language. And to top it off the process was pretty speedy. Would definitely recommend especially if you get a chance to work with Katie or Debbie who are both fab.

Alexander & Co are a great professional company to deal with. The conveyancing team Graham, Kirsty, Caroline and Katie were fantastic and dealt with our house sale in a very fast, personal and and efficient manner and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them to do business with.
