Exceptional Firm

We were introduced to Kiteleys 6 months ago.
Initially for Will work, all completed fast and efficiently. Then Probate work, it's not a nice time to deal with death of a loved one but everything was so smooth and swiftly dealt with.
Now to Conveyancing experience. WOW these people are brilliant and professional beyond belief.
Well done Kiteleys.

Poor conveyance experience

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience of at Kiteleys. The solicitor needed to be more proactive with my conveyance and needed prompting re key stages of my purchase. Also , they needed to offer advice to me rather than just forwarding correspondence from buyers legal team for my comment.

Slow to respond, if at all

Handling my Father in Law’s Probate was an uphill struggle. They never managed to respond in full to all the questions raised in emails and it was almost impossible to speak to anyone apart from reception on the phone. They would say they’d call back but never did.
They haven’t yet returned all of the paperwork and have left two policies for me to process myself.

Disappointed with this company.

In 2021 I used Kiteleys for the purchase of a property. At first I was delighted with the service and things progressed well. Then we found the solicitor handling this purchase was continually on leave or not available....thankfully there was another person helping, but things were slow. With various problems this purchase dragged out month after month (we were actually ill with the worry). Then we got to a stage where they said exchange was iminent, so our deposit was paid. Kiteleys held this for 5 months before we completed (we lost interest on this amount). Then cert went missing. (maybe in post)
Now we are selling this property and we find Kiteleys missed a minor problem and we have to pay an indemnity to protect our buyers. Would not use again.

Sophie Wheeler did an excellent job

So very pleased with Sophie Wheeler. She did an excellent job sorting out a flood claim compensation for me. She kept me fully updated throughout the matter and the outcome was very favourable. I would certainly recommend Sophie.

Our solicitor Anna has been first class in dealing with our sale, which was complicated by the buyers' requests to change some terms in the lease. It turned out to be a marathon process, but she acted very professionally and patiently and kept me sane throughout. I would thoroughly recommend her and Kiteleys.

I am one of the owners of Rochford Stokes Estate Agents. We first came into contact with David Bridge and Carole Evans at Kiteleys Solicitors as one of our vendor clients had instructed them to act on his sale and they were a complete breath of fresh air compared to many of the firms we have dealt with. Since then we have regularly recommended them to our vendors and purchasers and our clients have always given us very positive and complimentary feedback about their experiences dealing with them. We as estate agents have always been impressed with their level of communication and transparency. They really understand that when solicitors and agents all co-operate and communicate then transactions run a lot smoother and vendors and purchasers have a much better experience of the home moving process. Highly recommended!

A special thank you to Hayley Bugler, who gave outstanding professionalism at all times when supporting my family and me in selling our parents home. It was very reassuring to have someone who we could approach and her advice was always very clear and precise. We would recommend Hayley and Kiteleys in the future.
