Julie takes your money and nothing else. She messed up my claim, she says your claims worth more along the way and therefore requests more money. She charges me over £20k when it should have been around 5k. Don’t use her is my advise

We needed to find an Employment Law Expert and after spending over 2 hours calling about 20 or more Solicitors in and around Colchester, Julie's office called me back and said she was able to look at our potential claim. The service Stewart Law Solicitors provided was above excellent, from the word go. Julie, Louise and Goran were completely on the ball, so efficient and quick to respond. Julie's 25 years Employment Law knowledge, was a complete asset during the claim. Everything explained clearly and the support was second to none. Everyone was professional and friendly, really nice people to deal with. Overall it was a really very good experience

Julie and her team helped me fight an employer who tried to enforce an unfair and unlawful contract change. After this was resolved, and I decided I wanted to leave the employer, she helped me to negotiate a very strong exit deal to my financial benefit. I couldn't recommend Stewart Law enough to anyone facing difficuities with their employer, you will get a very positive result, with friendly and professional advice.

I am so happy that I found Julie at a period when I did. My dispute was with my own legal firm and an unfair dismissal claim which was couched as redundancy. I was concerned about whether Julie would want to take on another local firm. Not only did she take them on - as Stewart Law specialises in Employment law - but she had a groundbreaking result. We won by default after my former firm and its staff failed to respond on time to my claim. Julie managed to get their response (defence) to my claim struck out in its entirety, which is very hard to achieve. Julie’s expertise and submissions on these issues made them look like amateurs. I therefore won judgment for my claims of unfair dismissal, age discrimination, disability discrimination, notice pay and holiday pay. This was such a great result that it was reported in the Law Society Gazette and the judge went out of his way to praise Julie for what he described as her “exemplary” work and confirm her criticisms of my former firm. Apart from the incredible result, and Julie's incredible knowledge and zeal to win for me, Julie is a truly lovely person (if she is on your side) who explained everything to me in great detail and encouraged me and counselled when I felt very betrayed and confused by the treatment of my former firm and whether I wanted to go on. I am so glad I did. I would 100% recommend Julie Stewart.
